Draguć is the kind of place that encourages you to lower your voice and slow your steps. Arrive because you are interested in the village itself, not because you expect a full programme waiting for you. Its architecture and setting provide more than enough reason to linger.
More than a film location
The village has appeared in film and television, but it is not a set. Walk its streets as a guest in a living place. Look at the arrangement of buildings and the way the settlement occupies the ridge, rather than seeking only a familiar camera angle.
Follow the fresco story
The churches of St Elisha and St Roch are associated with Draguć's fresco heritage. The House of Frescoes provides another point of reference for understanding that tradition. Check access and opening through the current local visitor information, especially outside the main season.
Make the journey part of the day
A Draguć visit can be the focus of an afternoon, with a meal arranged before or after. Walking from Borut is a separate itinerary that needs route planning and a return arrangement. Do not confuse a short village visit with a full countryside walk.
